Summer fun

Well I've officially been an unemployed stay at home mom for three days now and just like everyone else says, it's the toughest and most rewarding job I've ever had. It will be a relief whenever I'm able to secure a regular paycheck again, but for the time being I'm focusing on enjoying my opportunity to spend so much time with my little man. The updates are that Aiden is now great at sitting by himself and rolling over - both front-to-back and back-to-front. It's awesome that he can actually sit alone and entertain himself with some toys for a few minutes now. He's also a total pro at holding his own bottle - another great skill as far as we're concerned - it's so nice to be able to just hand him his bottle and have him take care of the rest. And last but not least, yesterday the tip of his very first tooth started poking through his gums finally - yay! He's been drooling and fussing for so long now - it's about time we start actually seeing some pearly whites :-) Some recent pics....

4th of July

All decked out and ready to party for his first 4th:
It was a busy afternoon of hanging out with mom....
...splashing in the pool....
...teething on the handle of Keira's floaty car....
...picking up his pal Zack so they could go cruise for chicks....
...and trying to steal all of mom and dad's food and drink!
Then he passed out in Ben & Leah's room & slept like a champ through all the fireworks. What a great day :-)
