Look at me grow!

Sadly, the end of my maternity leave is within sight and I'll soon have to somehow deal with leaving Aiden's side during the day. Since Erik's mom and grandma (better known as Noni and Babba these days) have graciously offered to take him a few days a week I've been breaking myself in by leaving him there on Mondays when I drive in to Davis for lunch with Leah. The report is that he's been a model baby and he seems to love his time there. It also appears that Babba may be his very favorite person ever because he smiles at her non-stop. :-)

Since I've decided that Remy is the best thing to measure Aiden's growth against here are some pictures of my boys cuddling at 11 weeks old to compare with the pictures at two weeks:

Two month checkup

Aiden had his two month checkup last Friday and he had to get a total of four shots in his tiny little thighs - poor guy! He screamed bloody murder for about 1 minute and then settled back down pretty quickly. It must have been the four little round Tweety Bird band-aids that comforted him. ;-)

He was great for his appointment and showed the doctor how well he smiles and holds his head up and stands. She was impressed and said that he's very strong for his age - go Aiden! He's just one ounce shy of 12 pounds now which explains the way my back feels these days. What a good grower.
